The event brings together leading professionals worldwide on the latest updates in strength training applied to different populations. Organized by the INEF (Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences of the Technical University of Madrid), it is managed by the Department of Health and Human Performance.
This is a long-established congress that combines academic vanguard with the professional experiences of leading experts in the field. The program of the conference, with oral presentations and round tables, and the list of speakers are now available.
The organization of the event features the direction of Dr. Pedro José Benito Peinado, Professor of the Department of Health and Human Performance of the Faculty and a large number of professors from this and other universities in Spain, who together with the Laboratory of Exercise Physiology (LFE Research Group) and the Improvement of health by fitness, nutrition and exercise (ImFine) research group, organize this symposium.
The event will be held at INEF – Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences. A description of the facilities and suggested accommodation details can be found on the symposium website.
Submission of papers, in Spanish or English, is open until October 2, 2022. Accepted papers will be included in the book of abstracts of the symposium and awards will be given to the three best oral communications and the three best posters. The scientific committee is chaired by Dr. Ana Belén Peinado Lozano. The rules for the submission of papers can also be consulted on the website of the XIV Symposium in Strength Training.
