This Degree aims to equip the future biomedical engineer with the necessary conceptual, manual and technical tools to improve or develop new processes and industrial and sociomedical services to real medical problems.
They will also acquiere critical life sciences knowledge that will enable them to work in conjunction with their colleagues in biomedicine, not only solving technical problems, but also in the processes of identifying the actual problems, which is the only way that the technological solutions produce by them will be of real utility.
The main objective of the Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering is to train professionals to apply engineering principles and methods to the understanding, definition and resolution of problems in biology and medicine.
A biomedical engineer requires a multidisciplinary training to generate, integrate and apply scientific, technological and business knowledge to biomedical problems.

MTiH offers a transdisciplinary approach to Biomedical Engineering. It aims to provide students with advanced training in innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E) skills for health technologies.
It uses a hands-on learning curriculum to promote creativity, innovation, design thinking, and a market mentality among students to combine different technologies to solve real clinical problems and improve the quality of life of European citizens.
The main objective is to train a new generation of medical engineers who combine a deep knowledge on technical issues related to health technologies with a profound education in innovation and entrepreneurship in the health-tech sector, complemented by a solid understanding of the actual challenges of the health-tech sector.
Master programme at the intersection of health informatics, data science, and digitation.
The mobility module at PhD level in Biomedical Engineering and Health Systems (BEHealSy) is designed to create a new generation of student entrepreneurs to develop innovative devices and services for a healthier Europe. This joint initiative combines strong scientific education, training in entrepreneurship, learning-by-doing pedagogy and mobility schemes.
The main objective of the MSc. in Materials Engineering is to prepare engineers with interdisciplinary technical preparation, and enable them to perform multiple activities related to materials for a wide variety of productive sectors, product design, selection, extraction, development and processing of materials, including computer modelling, the application of service-life criteria, and quality control of production.
Students can choose from several subjects, among them: Biological Materials and Biomaterials (biomedical devices or tissue engineering)
The Master in Telecommunication Engineering (Master Universitario en Ingeniería de Telecomunicación) from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid has been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
Also, it has received the EUR-ACE (EURopean ACcredited Engineer) quality seal awarded by ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education).
The Bioengineering itinerary is available during the second year.
The Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) has ample experience in both Biological and Computational Sciences. Its Master in Computational Biology takes advantage of this experience to bring students the knowledge of internationally recognized professionals.
The centers involved in this Master are located at the UPMs Excellence Campus of Montegancedo, a thriving campus where both research institutes and companies work together offering a complementary formation in real-world situations through internships in associated research centers and companies.

s simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
